The journey into beadwork began with a simple gift—a sea bead ring received as a child. That moment sparked a lifelong fascination with beads, texture, and form.
Years later, at around the age of 20, access to beads turned curiosity into practice. Over the last 40+ years, this craft has been patiently refined—self-taught through books, observation, and experimentation. Each piece is made by hand, shaped by experience rather than trends.
The designs are inspired by everyday objects—things we recognize, use, and live with. Simple forms, minimal expression, and thoughtful material choices come together to create beadwork that is both functional and quietly beautiful.
Every piece you see here is handcrafted, unique, and made with care.
I’ve been working with beads for over 40 years, creating simple, handcrafted objects inspired by everyday life.
My journey with beadwork began in childhood, when a friend gifted me a small ring made of sea beads. I was drawn to its texture, its simplicity, and the way something so small could hold meaning. That moment stayed with me.
In my early twenties, I finally had access to beads and began teaching myself this craft. I learned through books, observation, and years of hands-on experimentation. There was no formal training—only patience, curiosity, and time. Over the decades, this practice slowly shaped my way of seeing and making.
Today, my work focuses on minimal forms and familiar objects—games, figures, and functional pieces inspired by what we see and use every day. Each piece is handcrafted, one bead at a time, and no two are exactly alike.
I work with carefully chosen materials, including plastic and crystal beads, selected for their durability, finish, and feel. Depending on the piece, a single work can take anywhere from a day to a month to complete.
This is not decorative beadwork made to sit apart from life. These objects are meant to be used, touched, played with, and lived alongside.
I believe in making things slowly.
I believe simplicity is not about less effort, but more attention.
I am inspired by everyday objects—the ones we often overlook, but return to again and again.
I value materials that feel good in the hand and last with use.
I don’t repeat designs exactly. Each piece is allowed to be what it becomes.
I work without haste, following a practice shaped by over four decades of learning.
I make beadwork that is quiet, functional, and honest.
Every piece begins with a simple idea—often drawn from a familiar object or game.
There is no fixed timeline. Some works take a single day, while others unfold over several weeks. The process depends on the form, the materials, and the rhythm of making.
Each bead is placed by hand. There are no molds, no mass production, and no shortcuts. Small variations are part of the process, and they are intentional.
Materials are chosen carefully, focusing on durability, balance, and tactile quality. The goal is to create objects that feel natural to use and return to.
The finished pieces carry the marks of time, patience, and handwork—made to be used, not rushed.
